Rail Outward Mission To New Zealand and Australia
UK railway suppliers are invited to join our trade mission supported by UK Department for International Trade (DIT) to New Zealand and Australia on 29 November to 5 December. Participants will meet key players and find out more about opportunities in these booming railway markets.

Costs & Travel
£995 plus VAT per company for a DIT OMIS charge (£600) & RIA Management Fee (£395)
(NOTE: On registration the first delegate from a company will be asked to pay the mission fee of £995 plus VAT via credit card or invoice. The second person to sign up from the same organisation will not have to make a payment on sign up to join the mission)
Delegates will be responsible for their own flight bookings and related costs including hotels. A detailed programme will be provided along with a mission brochure.
With any overseas travel, RIA recommends that those travelling always check the latest travel advice issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) before committing to travelling and again before travelling.
Outline Programme
The mission will visit multiple cities with a site visit, roundtables, and a reception in each location:
Tuesday 29 November – Auckland, New Zealand (a.m. flight to Melbourne 30 Nov)
Wednesday 30 November & Thursday 01 December – Melbourne, Australia
(Midday flight to Sydney 1 Dec)
Thursday 01 December & Friday 02 December – Sydney, Australia
Saturday 03 December & Sunday 04 December - Free weekend, make own way to Brisbane for 9 a.m. Monday start
Monday 05 December – Brisbane, Australia
Tuesday 06 December & Wednesday 07 December - Brisbane, Australia. Voluntary attendance at AusRAIL. For more details visit the AusRAIL website.
Registration
The event is open to all UK registered companies – 2 delegates per company limit.
A minimum of ten companies are required for the mission to go ahead. Applications are open until full or (now extended) to Monday 10 October.
