Cancellations and refunds
If you wish to cancel your attendance at a paid event and request a refund, you must advise RIA, in writing, at least 14 days in advance.
RIA will assess each refund request on a case-by-case basis.
Generally, refunds will not be given if requested within 14 days of the event.
Substitutions can be made without penalty, however advance notice is required in writing.
RIA would only cancel an event if absolutely necessary, but reserves the right to do so, as well as to reschedule events and substitute presenters.
RIA will not be held liable for your accommodation or associated travel costs should an event be cancelled or rescheduled.
How we may use your personal information after booking for an event
RIA never sells data to third parties.
We may occasionally share limited data with Event Partners, with the intention of enhancing the event experience (i.e. badge provider, speakers, key industry stakeholders, etc).
We will share your name and company with other delegates, on a ‘delegate list’.
We will use the information you provide to us:
- to manage and supply the Event services and the Event to you;
- to process your payment for the Event;
- to populate the delegate list digitally with your name and company, eg via the RIA Event App, and/or on printed material;
- unless you opt out of this, to give you information about similar products/services that we or Event Partners provide, and to send you promotional information about our Events.

You have a right to ask us to delete or rectify your personal data.
You also have a right to request access to the data that we hold about you.
