Campaign for Better Transport - Fares and Ticketing Report
Campaign for Better Transport - Fares and Ticketing Report Launch
31 October | 15:00-18:00 | London, RIA HQ
Campaign for Better Transport launches its new in-depth report, showing what can be achieved in reforming Fares and Ticketing on the UK rail network at the national and local levels.
The report contains a set of recommendations, many of which can be achieved without legislation. At a time of continued uncertainty for the rail industry and a range of challenges for the public, particularly on cost and complexity, this report demonstrates that effective reform can encourage passengers back to the rail network, boost the industry and the economy, and bring significant environmental and social benefits.
Join industry experts and peers for this afternoon launch with drinks and networking, hosted by the Railway Industry Association. RIA is currently working on a Rail Retail Paper, looking at how the supply chain can support the fares and ticketing reform. The paper will be launch in early 2024.
