UK railway suppliers are invited to register to join a Department for Business & Trade (DBT) and Railway Industry Association (RIA) virtual session focused on rail opportunities in the Philippines, to be held on Thursday 2 July from 08.50 until 11.00am UK time.
The Philippine Department of Transportation’s flagship rail programme is led by the North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR) and the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP), which together underpin the government’s “Build Better More” agenda to transform mobility across Luzon. In parallel, projects such as MRT-4 and MRT-7 are advancing steadily, driving sustained demand for advanced technologies, systems, and specialist expertise - creating clear engagement opportunities for UK rail businesses.
During the session, you will learn more about current and upcoming major rail projects in the Philippines including opportunities working with multilateral development banks in support on Philippine rail project delivery. Attendees will get to hear about the support available to UK companies in the Philippines from DBT & RIA.
The event is aimed at UK businesses and RIA members with an interest in rail infrastructure, systems, operations, services, and supply-chain opportunities in the Philippines.
Registration is open to any UK company representative (you will be asked to confirm this during registration), and the virtual link will be issued to those registered shortly before the event.
