RIA is partnering with Modern Railways to support the Railway Innovation Awards
The Awards are organised by Modern Railways, as part of the Fourth Friday Club, and have now been running for 23 years.
The longest-running awards in the rail industry celebrate and recognise innovation across a wide range of categories.
Entries OPEN for Railway Innovation Awards
Entries are now OPEN for the 23rd Railway Innovation Awards, to be held at the Hilton London Canary Wharf on 15 October. The longest-running awards in the rail industry celebrate and recognise innovation across a wide range of categories.
The event is being held in partnership with the Railway Industry Association, whose Technical Director David Clarke will chair a refreshed judging panel.
Entries can be submitted online in the following categories:
- Environment and sustainability;
- Passenger experience;
- Cross-industry partnership;
- Operations and performance;
- Engineering and safety;
- People, skills and diversity;
- Small-scale project; and
- Major project.
The Covid pandemic has seen an array of innovation across all aspects of the railway to keep passenger and freight services running and the railway maintained and enhanced: this year promises an outstanding flurry of entries all seeking the top prizes in their categories.
