Employer of the Year Award Shortlist
Recognition of an exemplary employer that has benefited staff and customers through its actions.
AEGIS Engineering Systems Ltd
AEGIS is a railway engineering consultancy and certification body operating in the UK, Spain and now in Canada. Over the past 12 years we have grown from a handful of people in Derby to an international team of over 100 operating in three countries and have become part of the Ikos Group. Our journey as an employer over those years has been guided by the knowledge that the people ARE our business and so we have to be a people-centric company. We have created a culture that is focused on flexibility, wellbeing, diversity and corporate responsibility, all the time driven by our core values of Respect, Passion, Excellence, We Care, and Do The Right Thing. AEGIS is a company where people are supported and feel valued, where they have the ability to balance work and life effectively. This is perhaps the reason why people come to AEGIS and stay, and why each year our team gets that little bit bigger. And it’s why, as an employer, we hope that we have a chance to win this Award.
