Tim has over 30 years’ experience in the rail industry, including several board-level leadership roles within Bombardier Transportation, Downer Rail and Alstom Transport. Prior to joining Wabtec, Tim  was the Chief Operating Officer at Bombardier and Vice President – Bombardier UK Services. Tim has played leading roles in key UK rail projects including 390 Pendolino introduction and Service delivery transforming the West Coast rail depots and the 11 car extension program, Cross Rail Rolling Stock introduction including completion of Old Oak common Depot and Heathrow express ETCS upgrade. Tim is a passionate about railways and their contribution to economic growth and decarbonisation of transport and the development of the UK technology supply chain.

Tim leads Wabtec UK & Ireland’s Sales & Commercial teams and is based in Derby. He joined the company in 2021. 

Tim plays an integral part in the UK executive team, developing and implementing the Wabtec UK&I business development and growth strategy, as well as ensuring the delivery of customer commitments. 

He holds an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
