Join the next Safety, Standards and Sustainability Group meeting on 15 October 2019. The meeting will start with 12:30 networking lunch and the presentations will commence at 13:30 with an estimated finish at 16:30.
Chief Systems Assurance Engineer; Safety, Technical & Engineering at Network Rail Brian Tomlinson will update the group about the Standards Challenge programme. Head of Profession of Civil, Bridge and Ground at WSP Mungo Stacy will give an update on digitising the highways standards. Rail Infrastructure Sustainability Forum Chair and Senior Environmental Manager for Transportation at Atkins, Nick Hunter will give an update on the latest work of the Forum. Alice Hickman Project Manager of Shift2Rail Delivery at Network Rail and Azhar Quaiyoom of Network Rail who was Project Manager at Birmingham New Street, will discuss, with Alice, air quality at stations projects and also outline Network Rail’s ambitions to introduce renewable energy sources to the network.
