RIA welcomes Government commitment to rail investment and recognition that rail can help reboot the economy. We are conscious, in the current financial climate there is an  expectation on all of us to deliver efficiently. This workshop will share DfT’s thinking and consider how we can work together effectively.

We will hear from Department for Transport on Project Decision Making, along with a speaker from HS2 to discuss Oakervee Review, Notice to Proceed, National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) review and Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR). Network Rail will give an update on their Whole Industry Plan (“WISP”).
