RIA has published its response to the draft Wales transport strategy (“A New Wales Transport Strategy”) consultation published by the Welsh Government.

RIA believes that railway projects need to be a key part of the Welsh Government’s plans for transport and infrastructure development across Wales in the next 20 years. Railway projects have a vital role to play both in national and local development – they provide green investment across towns and communities in Wales and can generate economic growth, investment and jobs.
