The Railway Industry Association (RIA) is proud to announce it has reached a major milestone, welcoming its 450th member company in what is the Association’s 150th Anniversary landmark year.
RIA’s 450th joiner to its growing community of suppliers supporting and strengthening the rail supply sector is a specialist independent infrastructure consultancy, Advance TRS Management Consultancy.
The announcement of the 450th member was made during the RIA’s 150th Anniversary celebratory event last week, on 10 July.
RIA Chief Executive Darren Caplan said: “We are very pleased to welcome Advance TRS Management Consultancy to the Railway Industry Association as our 450th member. We thank them for joining, it’s great to have them on board.
“In 2018 we had 190 members, and we have grown since then to the point where just last November we were announcing 400 members. So we are delighted that even more companies have decided to join us in this 150th landmark year of the Association, to the 450 members we have today.
“This growth means we can be better informed by even more world-class rail suppliers, and can champion a dynamic UK rail supply sector even more effectively in the future, as rail restructures under Great British Railways, and the Government explores innovative forms of investment, including through the private sector.
“Our 450 members will also have a more representative and unified voice when engaging with policy makers, influencers, rail clients and stakeholders, which is important both during periods of uncertainty in the market, as is the case currently, and in future times as the market grows.
“So in addition to Advance TRS Management Consultancy, we also thank all of RIA’s valued members for their fantastic support in recent years, and we look forward to continuing to work with them and campaigning for their interests in the years ahead.”
