The Team celebrating the Award win

Darren Caplan, Chief Executive of the Railway Industry Association, said: “We really do appreciate this recognition. Winning the PRCA’s Public Affairs Award for In-House Team of the Year is acknowledgment for all the hard word carried out by the RIA team, representing, assisting and advocating for members during this difficult time of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“As many in rail will know, it has been a tough year for the industry, but RIA has been working non-stop to ensure members’ concerns are heard and acted on, and that the industry is being supported as much as possible at such a critical time.

“This  award win is also recognition of the tremendous efforts RIA members have gone to, in working with policy makers, clients and industry stakeholders to keep the rail network moving, ensuring key workers and resources were able to get around the country, as well as continuing to build a world-class railway fit for the future. This award is a tribute to them, and we would like to thank all RIA’s members for their incredible support.”
