Thales, Costain and Systra (TCS): Inviting SMEs to partner for high speed signalling and control systems

Thales, Costain and Systra (TCS) are very pleased to have been shortlisted as a potential supplier to deliver the signalling and control systems for HS2. The partnership brings together global expertise in developing and delivering technology solutions for the rail sector, as well an extensive heritage of complex programme delivery, both in the UK and internationally.

TCS currently have a live tender for a first of type Command, Control, Signalling and Traffic Management opportunity. TCS are looking to engage with SMEs to seek further innovative ideas, solutions and involvement in tender response and delivery strategy.

Who are TCS seeking engagement with?

Companies or traders whom meet the UK Government definition of SME and whose technologies have a Technology Readiness Level of TR7 or above.

Timescales

  • Opening of application process – 23/11/21
  • Closure of application process – 7/12/21
  • Communication of selected companies for presentations - December
  • Pitching via video calls (45-minute sessions) – January

The opportunity

Between the 23rd of November and 7th of December, TCS are inviting SMEs with innovative solutions and concepts for the rail industry to pitch to a panel of Thales, Costain and Systra experts. This opportunity provides the chance to get expert feedback on your offering and the potential to work with three leading companies in the rail industry to transform journeys for Britain’s passengers.
