Unlocking Innovation: Data-driven Maintenance

Unlocking Innovation: Data Driven Maintenance

As part of RIA’s Unlocking Innovation events exploring the Railway of the Future, our July 2021 event will examine the challenges and opportunities in moving towards condition-based maintenance regimes, underpinned by remote monitoring, sensing, datalogging and processing technologies.  The topic is a large one, stretching across all disciplines of infrastructure and rolling stock engineering. The event will therefore seek to give a wide overview of current and near-future technologies. We will seek to highlight best practice from within rail and also feature some case studies from other industries. In addition to exploring technical advances, the event will also explore the underlying skills and business change processes that will enable a shift to revised front-line inspection and maintenance practices.

Due to the latest government announcement, this event will be held virtually, without the networking drinks at RIA HQ.
