Railways are a major source of employment and there are usually a range of vacancies covering technical, operational, clerical and general jobs. There is a particular need for graduate and professional engineering staff at present with the considerable investment being put into renewing the UK railway infrastructure. The many different companies involved are each responsible for their own recruitment, however some of the main sectors are outlined below. Supply Industry Generally

Track Renewals The Track Renewal Companies employ staff at various locations around the country.
