Sam joined RIA from Loughborough University where he was leading the Repoint Project to create fault tolerant track switching. Sam has a PhD in Railway Systems Engineering and founded his own company, SkyBlue Engineering Ltd, in 2015, specialising in research, development and innovation consulting, going on to work with governments, blue-chips, SMEs and infrastructure owners across Europe.
