22 October 2020

The Railway Industry Association (RIA) have announced the shortlists for the 2020 Rail Industry Supplier Excellence (RISE) Awards.

The RISE Awards are open to all RIA members and aim to celebrate their contribution to the UK rail supply sector across a number of areas including: innovation; exports; environment and sustainability; safety and wellbeing; and equality, diversity and inclusion.

Announcing the shortlists, Gaynor Pates, Operations Director at the Railway Industry Association, said: “Congratulations to every company and individual who have been shortlisted in RIA’s Rail Industry Supplier Excellence Awards!

“During what has been an incredibly challenging year, the UK rail supply community can be proud of the resilience it has shown and the hard work from everyone across the sector to both keep the UK’s railways running during the Coronavirus outbreak, and to continue building a world-class railway for the future.

“This year’s RISE Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the industry’s great work, as well as  the important developments and exciting innovations which are happening across rail. Whether it’s in diversity and inclusion, sustainability, exports, innovation or safety and wellbeing, there are some fantastic initiatives taking place and the RISE awards will offer the opportunity to celebrate them together.”
